On-Site Installation Notes for Overseas Teams

Before You Start

  • Unpack and check all cartons against the packing list before signing the delivery note.
  • Let panels acclimatise in the room for 24–48 hours before assembly.
  • Verify the wall is level and dry — never install against fresh plaster or a damp wall.
  • Confirm electrical and plumbing outlet positions before drilling.

Moisture Protection

  • Seal all cut edges with edge-banding or waterproof sealant immediately after cutting.
  • Keep a 10 mm expansion gap between the cabinet and the wall.
  • Use adjustable feet or a waterproof plinth — never sit carcasses directly on a wet floor.
  • In coastal or high-humidity areas, leave ventilation gaps behind tall units.

Assembly Quality Checks

  • Check all cam locks and dowels are fully seated before standing the carcass upright.
  • Test every hinge and runner through a full cycle before fitting doors.
  • Adjust door gaps to an even 2–3 mm before final tightening.
  • Re-check all fixings on the second day to allow for panel settling.

After Installation

  • Wipe all surfaces with a dry cloth — do not flood panels with water.
  • Record the installation date and keep the packing list for warranty claims.
  • Advise the end client to keep doors and drawers slightly open for the first week in new builds.
  • Report any transit damage within 7 days with photographs and carton labels.
